Will I look Asian if I dye my hair dark brown?

Many people think I look half Asian, half caucasian. I'm actually just plain white, no Asian background. I'm just wondering, will more people mistaken me as being half Asian if I dye my hair a darker shade of brown? Not that it's a bad thing...I'm just wondering. I currently have medium brown hair and green eyes:)
